PMP Reasoning · Last updated July 26, 2026
This policy explains what PMP Reasoning collects, why it collects it, and what you can do about it. It applies to the PMP Reasoning mobile app and nothing else. The app is published by an independent developer who can be reached at leoblueaf@yahoo.com.
Account information. When you create an account you provide an email address and a display name. Your password is handled by Google Firebase Authentication and is never visible to the developer.
Study data. The app stores what it needs to show you your own progress: which questions you have answered, whether each answer was correct, questions you flag, notes you write, your exam date if you set one, your daily and weekly goals, and your streak.
Subscription status. If you subscribe, the app records whether your subscription is active. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. The developer never sees or stores your card number, billing address, or any other payment detail.
Technical information. Firebase records basic operational data such as the time of a request and a generic error code when something fails, which is used to keep the app working.
There are no advertisements in this app and no advertising identifiers are collected. There is no third party analytics or tracking software. Your location is not collected. Your contacts, photos, microphone, and camera are not accessed. Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with data brokers.
Your data is used to run the app for you and for nothing else: to sign you in, to show your progress and accuracy, to power the coaching and readiness features, to send the reminders you have asked for, and to confirm your subscription is active. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not used to market to you.
Three companies handle data on the developer's behalf, each under their own privacy terms.
Google Firebase provides sign-in and stores your account and study data.
RevenueCat records whether your subscription is active. It receives an anonymous account identifier and your entitlement status, not your name or email.
Apple processes all payments and provides the App Store and TestFlight.
No one else receives your data. It is disclosed outside these providers only if the law requires it.
Reminders are optional and off until you turn them on. They are generated on your own device and are not push notifications sent from a server, so no notification token leaves your phone. You can turn them off at any time in Account, under Notifications, or in your device settings.
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Open Account, scroll to the bottom, and choose Delete Account. You will be asked for your password to confirm it is you.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your study record is erased and your sign-in credentials are removed. There is no undo and progress cannot be recovered afterward. If you would rather have it done for you, write to leoblueaf@yahoo.com from the address on the account.
A subscription bought through Apple is a separate matter and is not canceled by deleting your account. Cancel it in your device Settings, under your Apple Account, in the Subscriptions section.
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Delete the account and it is gone. Routine backups held by the service providers may retain a copy for a short period before they cycle out.
You can see your own data in the app, correct your display name and study settings at any time, and delete everything yourself. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of your data or to object to how it is handled. Write to leoblueaf@yahoo.com and it will be handled. There is no data to sell, so there is nothing to opt out of.
This app is built for adults preparing for a professional certification. It is not directed to children and accounts are not knowingly created for anyone under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area. If you believe a child has created an account, write to leoblueaf@yahoo.com and it will be removed.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on Google infrastructure. Access rules restrict every account to its own record, so no user can read another user data. No system is perfect, and no absolute guarantee can honestly be made, but nothing is stored that is not needed.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and the hosted copy is updated at the same time. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
